5th ANNUAL GLASS FLOAT ROUNDUP

More Glass Floats and New Rules for 2008!!
Starting at 8am March 15th 2008 at the Grayland Community Hall, A hunting license may be purchased for $3.00 and you will receive information on areas that the "Lucky Sand Dollars" can be found.

After you have found your marked “Lucky Sand Dollar” bring it back to the Grayland community Hall and receive your beautiful hand blown Glass Float and your certificate of authenticity.(Your hunting license will be your admission into the Community Hall.) You will need a hunting license and ID to receive a Glass Float

One Glass Float per family per address.
Local residents (Ocosta School Dist) are eligible for 20 Glass Floats. Following the above criteria.
The remaining Glass Floats will go to our out of town visitors using the above criteria.

If all the Glass Floats are not claimed by 1pm Sunday March 16th we will put all hunting license of those in attendance at the Community Hall In a drawing and draw names until all Glass Floats are gone..

Glass Floats 1, 2, and 3 will be raffled at 12 noon on Sunday

One numbered hunting license will be drawn at 2pm on March 16th. If present at the Community Hall and have a hunting license you will be eligible to win $100.00.

All Glass Floats are numbered and Artist signed by Mark Ellinger of GLASS QUEST

"A BEACHCOMBERS DELIGHT"

ENTER YOUR BEACH-COMBED ART FORMS
(Non-professional Adults and Children)

You will find 22 divisions to enter your Driftwood, Flotsam, Jetsam, and Photography (coastal scenes). The rules say exhibitors may enter one item in each division. Examples of the divisions are finished or natural driftwood, carvings on driftwood and floral arrangements on driftwood.
Ribbons and cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be presented to the winners in each division.

START YOUR DAY
South Beach Christian Outreach Pancake Breakfast.

Breakfast will be served at the South Beach Presbyterian Church on Saturday, March 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.

The church is located on Hwy 105, after you make the left turn to Grayland. It is on the beach side, so watch for signs.

ARTIST IN ACTION

We have many artists that will demonstrate how to prepare and clean driftwood, waxes to use and how to create art objects from driftwood. There will be people knowledgeable about glass balls and where they were made. Most artist will have items for sale.

VENDORS
Hand crafted items will also be for sale by vendors.

Food will be served in the kitchen by PGP Catering
